Review: Intra day Prediction for commodities,Gold, Silver oil -prediction for Sept 9,2009

Summary: See( click to see and enlarge each graph) chart and predictions and updates with buy/sell calls. About 10/13 calls were correct. Jeera calls were correct but loss was incurred on buy call( Rs 9500 approx on two lots). max possible profit on gold was Rs 20,000, on silver one lot was Rs 7500 and Rs 4500.On max possible profit on Crude oil was 9000. No individual eval of calls is done here. However we underestimated the extent of afternoon correction of gold and silver ( latter especially)

This is with reference for futures trading on NCDEX/MCX unless otherwise mentioned and only for tradng between 10am -5 pm.Pls note today's predictions carries higher risk

specific buy/sell call may be given in some cases where possible

1. Gold : May correct especially from mid day to afternoon and then rise sharply towards end of day. Sell on morning gains and buy futures in afternoon upon correction.

2. silver: Trend similar to gold futures likely

3. crude oil: short futures in morning and buy upon mid day correctionor earlier

4.Aluminium: Like oil a mixed trend is possible.Sell futures in morning.

5. Cumin/jeera: Buy futures on correction in morning or at even prices. May sell on gains.

6.Red chilli: Short chilli futures if it gains in morning but better to buy upon significant correction

7.wheat: sell wheat futures (NCDEX) but may buy in mid and late afternoon upon correction
