Review of sensex predictions for April 18,2007

We predicted in two different posts today ( one before market opened and other at 11.30 am)

1. A volatile market

2. Shorting nifty in first hour of trade on strong opening

3. and in the second post at 11.30 am to go short again in last 1.-130 hours of trade as market would go down from day's high

Strategy 1: would have given little or no profits, more likely some losses depending on time of shorting within the first hour as obvious from today's day chart in first hour of trade

Strategy 2: based on second tip of the day, would have been profitable in all likelihood as nifty went down by almost 35 points from day's high
