US market opened in positive territory hence opportunity to make a profit has been missed as dow is now over 195 points with 2.5hrs of trade left today.

Index can be shorted in last hour to make a small profit (with stop loss in place) if dow is trading higher than present value of of +195

US market opened in positive territory hence opportunity to make a profit has been missed as dow is now over 195 points with 2.5hrs of trade left today.

US market has opened positive inspite of negative news.Now at +63

at the time of this posting, there is negative news regarding GDP growth in US.

 

 

However it is predicted that US markets may recover sharply in second half  of the day. Hence contrary to prevailing sentiment, call options may be purchased at levels that may be specified, once market opens ( or trade will be abandoned)

The prediction went wrong giving a loss after brokerage( at closing price of nifty Puts of Rs 133.45.Fortunately within time limit price limit for next 10 lots were not met. hence loss limited to Rs 15775.
