Review of IFCI Intra day prediction- Sept 14,2007

O Friday Sept 14,2007 we posted the following prediction on moneycontrol.com message board around 12 noon

"IFCI likely to fall in afternoon .However it will reach its highest value for this month around 19 Sept 2007" IFCI at that time was trading at around Rs 78.80

Review: As can be seen IFCI saw a sharp fall late in the afternoon to a low of Rs 76 before closing at 77 .15.

Review of stock specific prediction-Spet 6,2007

We recommended/predicted ( real time prediction) buying of HDFC when it was at 2078. It shot up to 2109. Again in afternoon we recommended buying of HDFC/holding HDFC as we expected it too shot up further in afternoon along with key stocks like ICICI ( 919) and Reliance ( 1063)

Review: HDFC went up to 2109. In the second leg of the prediction, HDFC again went up to or above 2126 but inthe second case after hitting our recommended stop loss figure. RIL shot up to 1086 and ICICI hit a high of 924 ( only HDFC day chart shown above)

Review: As can be seen ( in conjunction with intra day prediction for sept 3), intra day correction on Sept 3 provided opportunit for buying which would given good profist by Thursday-Friday. As predicted market lost most of gains of Friday after the initial surge

Already HDFC margin call at Rs 2078 is in to good profits with HDFC now at rs 2109 now. We believe HDFC will surge up further in afternoon. Keep buy positions with stop loss now at RS 2093.

We believe many key front line stocks likel RIL (1963) ,ICICI ( 919) will surge up in afternoon.

Review: We recommended booking profits for the day ( on intra day trades) before 1 pm. The market slid from 12.50 onwards. Hence all profits would have been protected.

However we expected the fall to come somewhat later in the afternoon. Recovery of sensex after fall would have not of much use for intra day trades as stop losses would hav got triggered off during the afternoon

market set for a good recovery today. however what may happen in last hour of trade is less certain.certainly coming off intra day \'s high is indicated.

Review: after the prediction was posted the market rose 15-20 points before falling nearly 140-160 points with biggest fall coming in last half an hour of trade.
